We not only mentor our students and their parents through our Sangeetham Classes, but we also assist them in choosing the best academic path and certificate courses to take.

Sangeetham Classes Module:

We conduct a 1-1 singing class for kids and teenagers interested in and passionate about Indian & Carnatic singing. We have trained (basic) more than 200 students (Indian) living in UK, USA & India. Contact us if you need to talk to some of our students & their parents for a reference check.

Topics Covered:

• Understanding and identifying pitch
• Sarali Varisais - These foundational patterns help the student develop a sense of melody and rhythm.
• Nottu swaram - The nottuswara are a collection of 39 compositions, 33 of which are described in Sri Subbarama Dikshitar's book Prathama Abhyasa Pustakamu, which was composed in Carnatic music by Muthuswami Dikshitar.
• Janta Varisais - In Carnatic music, the usage of gamakas, ornaments, and other intricate phrases inside a raga is referred to as janta varisai.
• Pillari Geetham (1st and 2nd) - Generally these are in praise of Gods or Goddesses.
• Dhatu Varisais in Mayamalavagowla - These zigzag patterns improve the kids' general note-taking ability.
• Melsthayi Varisais in Mayamalavagowla - Exercises for singing in the higher octaves include melstaayi varisai. You will be able to sing higher thanks to the higher note added by each workout.
• Geetams - The simplest music form in Carnatic music, was created by Purandara Dasa in order to introduce talas with sāhityaṃ. Gītaṃ literally means "song" in Sanskrit.

How are Sangeetham Classes conducted?

• We will have 1 session per week for 1 hour, which is 4 sessions per month. You can feel free to pick a flexible batch.
• Classes will be conducted online on Google Meet, The teacher will have groups of 2-3 students per batch and students will be made to sing individually. Post the session, Recordings and Materials will be shared.
